New York.

Today, the family and I spent 12 hours in the car, on our way, to New York. I had about this | | much leg room, so I slept a majority of the time. 4 out of the 5 females in the car (especially the one next to me) overpacked, so, it was super cramped.

But we finally made it to Long Island! Hooray!

So, the first photo may be a little misleading... I would like to clarify that my DAD drove most of the way. Just incase you were wondering.

10 happy things. (or things that make me happy)

1. Picking flower bouquets in our yard.

2. Cloudy, 70 degree weather. Like what NC has been experiencing the past few days! It has been glorious.

3. Watching a good cooking show on Food Network.

4. Peanuts and popcorn. mmmmmm.

5. The Avett Brothers' music. All of it.

6. When the Yankees win.

7. Dancing in the kitchen when no one is watching.

8. Walks to the park.

9. Baking a bazillion cookies. Just for fun.

10. Eating a bazillion cookies. Just for fun.

Pittsburgh adventures No.1

Here are a few photos from an adventure, in the city, of Pittsburgh.

We took the incline up Mt. Washington and took many photos. . .

I was chewing in this one.

Looking through those binocular things was for the sole purpose of taking a nice photo. I couldn't see anything.

Soft-served ice cream on top of the mountain. Don't ask me why these photos are alined like this.

More Pittsburgh photos coming soon!

Up north.

Early Monday morning, 9am is apparently early in our house mom, Jess, Anna, Emily, Luke, and I drove up to Pittsburgh! We come up here annually to visit my mom's side of the family. Being true Pittsburghers, they are all passionate Steeler fans. Like, WOW. I do not like this.

Anyway.

Here are a few photos from the trip up:

West Virginia. Lovely.

Me at a reststop somewhere in Virginia:

Virginia is for lovers.

The stress is building.

There are so many different things going on in my life right now that are causing me stress. BUT, it all will be over in 3 weeks. (3 weeks!)

This post is pretty pointless, I realize. . . I just don't want to have look at my creepy facial expression every time I come across my blog.

ANWAY, I hope you are having a fantastic Wednesday!

Golf tournament!

It's that time of year. . .

Something very exciting is happening tomorrow. Something very, very exciting.

At 6 o'clock Yes, that's AM. me and my dad are heading to Quail Hollow Country Club for the Wells Fargo Championship! Hooray! PS that is a photo of me holding my ticket. I'm so giddy.

This may sound silly and boring to you, but it's actually great fun. We've had jolly good hehe experiences the last two tournaments we've attended, and this year will be hopefully no different. I have been practicing my golf clap ALL DAY LONG. I'm a pro now.

...

I have been looking forward to this day for an entire year. I really don't think I will be able to sleep tonight.

*Major disappointment*
Jess is not coming. Boo college finals.

March photo shoot.

One day in March, Jess and I, along with our friend, Maggie, had a photo shoot. Amidst taking very nice photos, we laughed, goofed around, and had a delightful afternoon. It's amazing how silly the three of us can be when we're together.

The End.

Best way to spend your Saturday afternoon. . .

. . .is sitting in Starbucks with your sisters, Americano, and brand new MacBook.

As you can see, I really do love my mac!

Whoa. Is it really Tuesday? This is a bit late. . .

My very own Mac.

I am definitely a Mac person. But, I had used a PC for my entire computing lifetime. Even though I was slightly unhappy about this, I tried to stay positive and be thankful for the computer that I DID have. But. . . .

My sister had a Mac.

My dad had Macs.

My mom had a Mac.

Not that I was rudely envious or covetous about their computers. . .I just felt a little left out.
I'm not complaining! Really!

So on Friday, we took a trip to the iStore! Yeah, it's really the Apple Store, but iStore makes so much more sense. I mean, they sell iPhones, iPads, and iPods. Really, what is with the apple?

This part is actually ironic because we bought the computer at Best Buy. But that doesn't matter! I got my MacBook Pro and that's what's important.

And that is my story.

A Concert.

So we went to see the Avett Brothers last night. Let me just say it was spectacular.
w
It was so incredible seeing their faces and beards in real life. An epic moment I will never forget.
w
It seemed like at the beginning of every song, I was squealing with delight. Each one was perfect. Although, they really could have played more. All night would have suited me just fine.
w
I danced.
w
I screamed.
w
I jumped.
w
I cried.
w
All in all, it was a delightful evening. It makes me smile just thinking about it!
w
I wish they were my friends.

Jess[ica].

Meet my sister, Jess. (on the left. that's me on the right). She is my favorite.
w
In case you were wondering, yes, she is older. . .
w
We have always been very close. We talk about pretty much everything. . .I don't know what I would do without her.

We so excited.

17 things before 18.

So I am 17. Going on 18.
Jut like the in the movie The Sound of Music ! Honestly though, when I was little and obsessed (and i mean OBSESSED) with that movie, I thought 17 would feel older.
But now that I have made it, I really don't feel as old as I had anticipated. Slightly disappointing on my part.

Anyway, here is a list of 17 things I would like to accomplish in the year before I turn 18.

NOTE: My birthday is in January, so I am clearly a bit behind. Gotta pick up the pace, I know.

Here we go.

1. Wear bright red lipstick out in public for all to see. And not be ashamed!
w
2. Read at least 1 Harry Potter book. No, I have not read any. . .
w
3.
Finish a game of Monopoly completely. Like, not quitting when it gets super slow and boring as I know most of us do.
w
4. Bake biscotti. Yum.
w
5. Go on a scary ride. A.k.a. a roller coaster.Quite honestly, I hate feeling like I am about to die a drastic death. So, this one is a tough one.
w
6. Finish watching all of the Harry Potter movies. No, I haven't seen them all. . .
w
7. Eat breakfast at McDonald's. Frankly, that's the only meal I will ever eat there again. I don't know about you, but I'm not fond of my insides feeling like I they have consumed a large amount of garbage. Actually, any amount of garbage. That's what Big Mac's do to me. So not worth it. Sorry.
w
8. Throw a surprise party for a friend. This one could be tough considering most of my closest friends have already had birthdays this year. . .I guess I'll have to settle for half birthdays. Half birthdays are underrated anyways. I'll start a new trend.
w
9. Go camping. Sleeping in a tent in my basement is the closest I have been to camping. Come on. That does NOT count.
w
10. Go bowling. While ever single of my family members have gone at one time or another, I have never been. True story.
w
That's all I have for right now. . .more to come!

This is my blog.

At the moment, my days look a lot like this: wake up. eat. school. eat. partay. just kidding. no parties in the daytime. school. dance. eat. [it should say school here, but you know. . .] partay. I really do party here. I have a dance party. With Jess. sleep.
white
w
Repeat.
w
w
w
As fun as this sounds, it is really not entertaining blog material. So. . . starting now, I will be obligated to do fun and creative things specially for my little blog. Yippee!
w
w
w
w
This blog will also serve as a journal for me to look back on later in life. Because everyone is sentimental once in a while and enjoys reminiscing about their past. But this is definitely not a novel. I will keep the writing to a minimum. And maybe one day I will have the opportunity to show my kids! (who are all, by the way, going to be famous athletes.)
w
w
w
I can't wait.
w
w
P.S. This is for real. Let's get started.
